Striving to inspire, motivate, and educate, "I Am Black" delivers informative and engaging editorials that speaks to ALL Black people regardless of demographics or socioeconomic position. Our writers are endeavoring to create timely, relevant, and uplifting content that fosters a philosophy of inclusion for African-Americans across South Carolina.  Yet, we work to recognize and appreciate the myriad of perspectives that have been obtained through individual and collective experiences and contributions in the Black community.
